Property tax helpline extended

Due to the very large volume of calls to the LPT (Local Property Tax) Helpline over the last couple of days and the extremely heavy filing rate of almost 8,000 payment notifications per hour, the Revenue Commissioners have extended the payment deadline to 4pm on this Friday.

The LPT Helpline (1890 200 255) will remain open until 8pm today (Thursday) and from 8am to 4pm on this Friday.

Based on the types of calls received by the Helpline over the last number of days, such as requests for Property ID and PIN and information on payment dates and payment options the Commissioners have advised that most transactions can be done through the online system without any need to make contact.
